If a person uses antibiotics too long, the bacteria, which are treated by means of these antibiotics, become resistant to these medicines and cannot be killed by them. The problem of antibiotic-resistant bacteria can cause a lot of difficulties, as many life-threatening infections can be brought in the result. Such bacteria can appear by different means. The first and the most important reason is antibiotic overuse. That is why, sometimes it is important to refuse using antibiotics in order to stop developing antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
